2009 was an awesome, exciting, and painful year of waiting. We got engaged and we met again after 1 1/2 year of not meeting in person. Yeah, we got engaged online! But two months before May of 2009, just before he visited Philippines the second time, we gathered all the papers needed for I-129F, the petition for Alien fiancee and submitted our application at first week of April. The K-1 visa process took us over 6 months from the time we mailed the application but all went well. I arrived in US the first week of November and we are now happily married.
Through this blog, I will share my fiancee visa experience for all Filipino fiancees and for all fiancees around the world. My visa journey wasn’t that complex but I hope you will learn something from my whole experience.
